What MemoryPlaces Is
MemoryPlaces is a photo organization tool designed to help users create and maintain place-based albums using Apple Photos metadata.
The app is intended to assist with organization. It is not a backup service, cloud photo storage service, or replacement for Apple Photos.
Beta Software
If you are using MemoryPlaces through TestFlight, you are using beta software.
Beta software may contain bugs, incomplete features, performance issues, or design changes.
You should not rely on beta software as your only method of organizing important photo collections.
Your Photo Library
You remain responsible for your own photo library, backups, devices, and iCloud settings.
MemoryPlaces is designed not to intentionally delete original photos. However, as with any software that interacts with a photo library, you should maintain appropriate backups.
Permissions
MemoryPlaces may request access to your photo library and, optionally, your location.
These permissions are used only to provide the app's core features, such as reading photo location metadata and creating place-based albums.
Subscriptions and Purchases
If subscriptions or purchases are enabled, they are processed through Apple's App Store payment system.
Subscription management, cancellation, refunds, and billing are handled by Apple according to Apple's App Store terms and policies.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse MemoryPlaces, reverse engineer the app, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that violates applicable laws or third-party rights.
No Warranty
MemoryPlaces is provided "as is" and "as available."
We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every specific use case.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MemoryPlaces and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes to the App or Terms
We may update the app, its features, or these Terms of Use from time to time.
The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
